Some people walk into a room and shift the energy without saying a word. Actor and fitness Model,Alex Ringler carries that kind of presence—equal parts confidence, curiosity, and quiet depth. In a world obsessed with surface, he reminds us that real magnetism comes from being fully at ease in your own skin.
Q. How does stepping into different characters shape the way you understand yourself?
A. What’s great about stepping into different characters is that it forces me to see the world through a lens that I normally don’t. I see how through the circumstances of the character I could be lead to have the same reactions and make the same decisions that they did. By understanding that about myself, I think it gives me more empathy for others and helps me forgive myself more for my own mistakes.
Q. You carry both strength and sweetness — how do you stay connected to both?
A. That’s very kind of you to say. I think right now, sweetness and kindness are a show of strength. It’s much easier to give into hate, anger, and fear. I think it’s harder and takes more strength to be kind and have hope.
Q. What role do fitness, sensuality, and performance play in your identity?
A. Fitness is something that grounds me. Even on my most unmotivated days, if I make it to the gym, I’ve at least accomplished that. I’ve found that mixing sensuality (or a sense of thirst) with comedy has been a winning combination for me. It’s sometimes hard for me to separate my performing side from my identity. I can feel pressure to be “on” all the time. So I do relish those moments that are more private and personal with my friends and loved ones. I try not to post EVERYTHING! 🤣
Q. What does “handsome” mean to you as a man learning, evolving, and taking life head-on?
A. Handsome to me is confidence. I grew up feeling very insecure and unattractive. I was a husky kid with a face full of acne. So I used to (and still sometimes do) idolize those perfect, Abercrombie faces and bodies. As I’ve grown and gone through phases of looking extremely fit to just not caring altogether, I’ve learned that it’s fine to have fitness goals or get Botox or do whatever you want to your face and body, but being confident in your looks means embracing what makes you unique, both on the outside and inside, and loving it all. Not just putting up with it, actually loving it. If everyone looked the same, the world would be really boring.
Alex Ringler feels like the kind of man still unfolding in real time—grounded enough to know himself, open enough to keep evolving. And maybe that’s the real flex: not arriving perfect, but becoming fully, honestly, and without apology.
